About K. Scott Kreider

A photographer and journalist currently working in Lancaster PA with the Intelligencer/New Era.  Having lived in Bolivia, Ghana, Switzerland, and South Korea, I have gained a deep interest in the interplay between locations, people, economics, and culture. The majority of the work in this portfolio is from my extensive travels in Asia.  During that time the role of socioeconomic and cultural forces on the landscapes and the people within came into focus, and I truly began to grow more serious and passionate about exploring these themes through photography.   I also have a profound love of nature and an interest in how we interact with our natural environment.  Now located in Lancaster PA, near Philadelphia, I am beginning a career in journalism, and continuing to explore similar themes in my homeland.  Come back soon to see more recent photography work on the U.S.
